3 Quick Tips To Achieving Your Crown Of Glory

Three key aspects discussed here is, Protein treatments, Hot Oil treatments and Split Ends.

Three hair healthy beauty regimens to achieving great looking hair.
To most women our locks, our tresses, our hair, or whatever term you choose to use to define your hair its your own shining crown of glory.
Literally as a woman you are extremely careful who touches it and what is done to it

1. Try a protein treatment: Protein is in hair DNA and its made of 90%
protein, specifically Keratin.
If your hair feels limp and weak it may be a sign that your hair needs a protein treatment.
Protein helps make your hair less prone to breakage and over moisturizing.  Your hair will be a lot shinier for it too.
Be careful not to overuse otherwise, it will start to snap off.
You can use a store bought version or try your hand at making a do it yourself mask at home.
First of all,
protein helps to invigorate your hair and also helps it to grow.
Rebuilding the areas of your hair where protein was lost from chemical processing and heating, also by lengthening the growth phase of your hair to achieve length.
Protein treatments range from light to seriously damaged.
Deeper treatments usually work better on chemically treated or hair thats been ruined by heat.
All treatments are not created equal and there is no need to overdose,  especially if your hair is in good condition, thus too much protein can make your hair dry and brittle.
You can use this treatment two to three times a month but it must be balanced out with a moisturizing conditioner to prevent drying and breakage.
If your hair is totally damaged you can use a treatment after every shampoo until your hair has more elasticity and you are experiencing less breakage.

2. Hot Oil
Treatment:
However, do not use a microwave to heat the oil or it will loose its nutrients.
You can use any of the following oils:
Argan, Avocado,  Sweet Almond, Castor, Coconut,  Jojoba or Olive. You can use the oil straight from the jar and all should be available at your local health food store and local supermarket.

Skip products with petrolatum,  lanolin and mineral oil.
They will dry and at the same time stop moisture from penetrating the shaft.
A little of the oil goes a long way. Start with a small amount, then add more as needed.
After washing hair apply a leave in conditioner, adding the oil you choose to use.
This seals in moisture and ensures your hair stays healthy.
Things you'll need.
Oil, hot water, towel, plastic shower cap and a applicator bottle.
Heat 1/2 to 1 cup of oil in a double boiler or a pan of hot water.
Make sure applicator bottle is heat safe.
Part hair into four sections to work with.
Once oil has cooled off, test on wrist, then use applicator bottle to apply to scalp, roots and length of hair.
Massage into scalp for five minutes.
Cover with plastic shower cap.
Dip towel into hot water, ring out and wrap around head.
Let sit for thirty minutes. The warm towel
allows your  hair follicles to open up so that the oils can soak into your hair.
Finally, rinse the oil out of your hair in the sink or shower,
followed with a conditioner or shampoo.

3. Trim Split Ends:
Trim your split ends as soon as possible. Similarly, even healthy hair is prone to getting slit ends, so check ends regularly.

The longer you let them go unchecked, the further the damage will creep up the hair shaft.
Do not rely on those split ends mending scrums, as they are quick fixes and are not permanent and they won't mend your split ends.
You can learn to trim your own ends at home in the same way you learned to apply the protein and oil treatments.
You can trim your real hair so you can retain as much length as possible.
You may want to blow out your hair first.
Thus will give you a more defined line to view when cutting.
Split hair into manageable sections.
Four large quarter sections and then within each quarter clamp each row in between your index and middle finger and feed hair through until you get to the very end with less than an inch remaining.
Hold your hair up to the natural light to see more clearly any split ends.
Trim away your ends carefully with scissors, using just the tips of the scissors and repeat this same process working throughout your entire head sections in the same way.
Trimming helps maintain maximum length and keeps your hair neat and free of loose ends.
Also helps to speed up your detangling sessions and quick and easy to do yourself and suitable for all hair lengths.
Its just that easy.
The results, a great and  healthy looking crown of glory.
